Doom rides in Islands of Adventure all while meeting Captain America. However, both resorts offer alcoholic beverages around the parks. A similar scenario took place with Universal Studios opening a larger second park in Orlando, much like Disney did after not being able to expand Disneyland, opened a second theme park in Orlando.
Orlando is set across acres of core land the theme parks and hotels compared to the acres. While this may not seem a huge difference, most of the Universal Studios Hollywood area is taken up by the live set and working studios. Despite the small difference, there is definitely a sense of space and things are on a much larger scale at Universal Studios Orlando.
There are more rides, rollercoasters and shows and more for everyone to enjoy. You also want to remember that Orlando offers 2 theme parks along with 1 water park; Volcano Bay.
This is more of a holiday destination compared to Universal Studios Hollywood where it is more of a city break location. There is no denying that the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter is a major draw for many people going to Universal Studios over and over again. It is one of the main reasons I personally love Universal Studios and always enjoy going into the Harry Potter lands.
With Orlando being much bigger it has space and capacity to offer more rides and a wider range of rides. If you are looking for the better park for rides, Orlando is definitely the park for you. Orlando offers up a bigger range of rides from motion simulation, shows, rollercoasters and more. You are more likely to find something for everyone at Orlando and have plenty of rides to choose from.
Though Universal Studios Hollywood has rides they are more motion simulation-based and not many are rollercoasters. So if you like celebrity spotting or seeing new and unique shows this is a good park for you. This is quite tough as each park has something quite unique to offer adults. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, Universal Studios Orlando is the place for you as there is so much more to do there than go on rides.
We've got a list There are some places in Disney World that even the pros have a hard time Disney World parking trams or the lack thereof were the topic of the latest late-night Disney has provided an update on how they are looking to mitigate the impacts of Harry Potter fans, we have a new quiz for you!
Can you name these secondary Your email address will not be published. Of course you can have more than one butterbeer. Universal Florida is not a similar park and does not compare. A small, boxed in theme park consisting of various facade clad warehouses. The parking and entering the park situation is heinous not to mention the locker system and the inability to take photos on the rides.
I did the Express pass at each Universal park and I did enjoy IOA, however the parks are tiny, the rides are on top of one another. Disney is so grand in scale and so large. Not to mention the Disney employees are far superior to the ones working at Universal in keeping with character and theme.
Say what you want, but we have been to Universal several times and the biggest problem that we have is with the mandatory locker system. If you wear a hat, have a small bag, whatever…you must tolerate the beyond busy, standing room only, crazy locker rooms for all the good rides. We found that to be a major distraction from enjoying the rides and god help you if you have a bottom locker because rude people will walk all over you. Thank goodness Disney does not require such a chaotic system.
Universal Studios is so large it is difficult to really do everything in one day. ET is awful. My kids hated it and felt it was a waste of our day. Read more About us or Advertise with us.
