How does cavemen fit into the bible
Over the years, our ancestors developed skills. Cooked food is faster to chew and easier to digest than raw food. This freed up time each day for the humans to do things beyond mere survival. In fact, the energy that used to go into hunting and gathering now literally went to their brains. And 70, years ago, with their growing skills and brainpower, something incredible happened.
Scientists call it the Cognitive Revolution. Around this time humans began to communicate in actual languages. They shared information about their world. They gossiped. They told stories.
Suddenly they could work together to kill larger animals, erect larger shelters, and live together in large groups of people or more. I am conscious of my existence.
I know that I am part of a wide world of life and wonder. Some Christians are embarrassed about evolution. It amazes me still, that many, who have no true evidence to the contrary, try to make believers look like fools for believing. Once again, you have put the issue succinctly into perspective. Great job, brother.

Granted, scientists have tried relating them to modern day hippos and crocks, but if you'll look at the description, such is not actually possible. In fact, many Christians are beginning to believe that even dragons flying, fire-breathing, etc.
The Bible also mentions that God created the world, and that there was a place called, "Eden", and that in it, God had placed a garden.
In this garden was where humans and all the animals brought to humans lived. But since fossils have been found worldwide, some have also suggested the idea of dinosaurs living OUTSIDE Eden's garden at a time, whether before or during the existence of humans, and whether before or after humans were kicked out of the garden.
