Also have this problem. Tried both synergy plus and synergy as clients. If I use linux as the server, windows as the client, no problem at all. Lucid is 64bit. Tried the work around, was a little better but still disconnected. Workaround: Set "check clients every" option to a very large value which the software then converted to ms upon saving.
